The total operating budget for the Fiscal Year 2021 is $10,377,285. The largest sources for operating funds are Federal and State contracts (Texas Department of State Health Services, Medicaid/Medicare, WIC Nutrition), Other Grants/Contracts (NACCHO, Episcopal Health Foundation, WCCHD Service Fees, St. David’s Foundation), and member government contributions to the General Fund.
Williamson County and Cities Health District are required annually to have an audit of its financial records performed by an independent certified public accountant. Accordingly, after the close of its fiscal year, WCCHD publishes a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) containing information on its financial position and results of operations for the past fiscal year and any budgetary variances. The CAFR is prepared to conform to the highest standards of public financial reporting as set forth by Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). At this time, the 2020 annual independent audit is pending. The finalized 2019 CAFR is available for review.
