WCCHD Moves to Weekly COVID-19 Reports

The CDC COVID-19 Community Levels are a tool to help communities decide what prevention steps to take based on the latest data. Levels can be low, medium, or high and are determined by looking at hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area. The community is urged to take precautions to protect themselves and others from COVID-19 based on the COVID-19 Community Level in their area.

WCCHD bases its COVID prevention recommendations based on the CDC COVID-19 Community Levels, which now rate Williamson County as Low Level. While at this level, the case overview, hospitalization overview, and rate of new infection tabs will continue to be updated daily on the COVID dashboard. All other dashboard data will be updated weekly on Fridays starting March 4 and will be posted weekly on social media.

WCCHD will continue to monitor key indicators and track clusters of infections and areas with lower vaccination rates, and respond accordingly should the Community Level require more frequent data updates.
