Williamson County and Cities Health District
Wellness and Health EducationEducation and community-based health promotion are crucial to maximize the efforts of staff to prevent disease, promote healthy lifestyles, and protect residents from health threats. Information and education about healthy living and good nutrition are more important than ever as the county, state, and nation confront trends of increasing overweight and obesity in children and adults and related increases in incidence of chronic diseases such as diabetes.
Health education classes are provided free of charge throughout the year across the county based on interest and priority area. For more information about current classes contact us at 512-248-3257 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
