Get Fit, Get Healthy, Get Movin'

Get Fit, Get Healthy, Get Movin’ (G3) was developed by Williamson County and Cities Health District in collaboration with Scott & White Healthcare – Round Rock and the City of Round Rock Clay Madsen Recreation Center. 

G3 is a weight-management program for children 7-17 years who have been identified as overweight or at-risk by their physician or school nurse.  At least one parent or guardian must participate in the program.

G3 teaches children nutrition and physical activity through hands-on learning and in an age-appropriate manner.  The program teaches parents about nutrition and physical activity in a way that helps them engage their entire family in these healthy lifestyles.

The 12-month program is a two phase program with each phase consisting of six months.  Program components include:

• Orientation Meeting
• Initial Intake Appointment
• Case Management Visits
• Children & Parent Classes
• Follow Up Phone Calls
• Celebration Events
