Food Safety Training Requirements
All food employees in a food establishment must employ at least one Certified Food Manager (CFM) with assigned supervisory duties and responsibilities.
**Exceptions include employees of a temporary food establishment or establishments handling only prepackaged food.
All other employees that work with exposed food (open or unpackaged food), food equipment, utensils, or food contact surfaces must receive training as a Certified Food Handler. Training must be completed within 60 days of employment.
