Open Positions:
| Communications and Marketing Director - to build and maintain positive relationships with the public as well as with organizations and governmental entities that help support the District's mission and vision. This position serves as the key spokesperson and media contact for the District.
Required: Education and experience equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or a closely related field and with a minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in public information, public relations, and public information writing. Excellent oral and written communication skills and public speaking ability.

Administrative Assistant - to provide advanced support to the Transforming Texas team and coalition members in Williamson and Burnet counties. Coordinates meetings, records minutes, disseminates information, and helps ensure compliance with grant requirements. Required: High school diploma or equivalent, experience in administrative support work, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional, office practices, and administrative procedures. Position headquartered in Round Rock. Excellent benefits, reimbursable local travel.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REP - (2) Full-time positions (40 hours/week) with WIC Program, Georgetown, or other locations as needed. Must provide own transportation, be available to work hours other than M-F, 8-5. Required: bilingual English/Spanish, HS graduate or GED, excellent customer service skills, willingness to train and complete WIC Certification Specialist assignments and duties. Highly desirable: previous WIC, WCS experience. Duties include data entry and benefits issuance, interviewing WIC applicants, weighing and measuring applicants, performing finger sticks, assisting with nutrition classes. On-the-job training provided. $11.90 per hour plus excellent benefits package. You may attach a resume to the application, but resumes alone are not sufficient. A complete application must include:- A cover letter explaining your interest in this public health position and the skills you bring to this position. This letter is considered a part of your application.
- A completed and signed Application for Employment form.
- If you are applying for more than one position, you must complete a separate application for each opening. You may use photocopies, but the position and department titles must be listed correctly. You must also have an original signature and current date on each application.
