WCCHD’s funding is derived from contributions from the member governments, Texas Department of State Health Services contracts, client fees, Medicaid and CHIP reimbursement, and other grants, contracts and contributions. The Health District’s fiscal year is January-December, and the FY 2010 operating budget is $6.3 million. In addition to funds, Williamson County contributes facilities, utilities, janitorial and maintenance services, ITS and telecom services, payroll processing, administration of the employee benefits program, workers compensation insurance, and vehicle insurance.
