Breastfeeding Support

See breastfeeding support information on the WIC Nutrition Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program page.

Farmer's Market Vouchers

During the spring and summer months, women and children over the age of one participating in our WIC and Community Nutrition program receive vouchers redeemable at the farmer's local markets for fresh, Texas grown fruits and vegetables. One of the most popular aspects of the WIC and Community Nutrition program, the Farmers' Market vouchers are always welcomed by our participants. Call your local WIC office for season information for local farmer's markets or download the 2008 Farmer's Market flyer.

Community Outreach and Education

In an effort to keep the community aware of WIC benefits, the WIC Program participates in local health fairs, and provides educational presentations. Please call (512) 943-3680 for more information.
