Beginning July 1, 2008!
Williamson County Commissioners voted on April 1, 2008 to become a
participating member county of the National Association of Counties (NACo)
Prescription Discount Card Program, a service to be made available to anyone who
lives in Williamson County.
The new Williamson County Prescription Discount Cards will be available to
Williamson County residents beginning July 1, 2008. One card may be used by all
members of the household—or each person may have their own. More than 50
Williamson County pharmacies will accept the card. You may pick up a card at
one
of these locations.
The Williamson County Prescription Discount Cards are free to obtain and easy to use. There are
no age, health or income restrictions on who can use the cards and there are no
registration forms the fill out. The program offers uninsured or underinsured
consumers with immediate, at-the-register discounts on their prescription drug
purchases through a nationwide network of 59,000 participating
pharmacists—including more than 50 pharmacies in Williamson County.
