Robert Stluka represents Williamson County on the Board of Health. He was appointed August 2006 and his term expires December 2010.

Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Additional training from the Institute for Participatory Management and Planning in Systematic Development of Informed Consent, Citizen Participation by Objective and Professional Ethics. Currently Director of Local Government Consulting at Strategic Partnerships, Inc. ---a research and consulting firm offering business development and public affairs services. Robert has worked in several other government relations and public affairs positions.

Three years as mayor of Round Rock and nine more years of service as a city councilman. Served in various capacities within the Round Rock and Austin Chambers of Commerce. Former Board member of the Round Rock Area Serving Center and Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center.

Why you are glad to serve on the WCCHD Board of Health.
I have served on many boards and the WCCHD Board is one of the most rewarding. WCCHD staff and Board members are committed and diligent. I enjoy having a positive impact on the health of the people of Williamson County.

My wife Emily and I have been residents Williamson County since 1978. We have two grown children and three grandchildren.
