Why you are glad to serve on the WCCHD Board of Health.
I enjoy the networking with other health professions.  It is also a great way to learn about what is happening in the county.  Being a member of the Board of Health is a great way to support the citizens of my town and my county.

Any other information you would like to share such as hobbies, information about your family, etc.
I retired from the Army Nurse Corps in 1992 as a Major.  I am married and have 2 grown sons.  Robert lives in Georgetown. Travis lives in Taylor and is a member of the Coupland Volunteer Fire Department.  My husband, Johnny, is active in the Taylor local government—School Board Member, member of the Chamber of Commerce, and Zoning Board of Adjustments for the city.  I am also an active member of American Nurses Association and lead review for the ANCC Pathway to Excellence Program.
