Meet Kerry Russell

Kerry Russell represents Georgetown on the Board of Health. He was appointed in January 2008 and his current term expires December 2010.

I have a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from the University of Wyoming. I am a partner in the law firm of Russell & Rodriguez, LLP in Georgetown. My legal practice is primarily in the field of environmental law and I represent governmental clients throughout Texas.

Your connection to Williamson County and the city you represent for Board members serving as representatives of member cities. For example, how long you have lived in the area, what other community leadership positions you hold/have held, etc.
I am a native of Liberty Hill and have resided in the Georgetown area for many years. I am active in a number of community organizations and have served as an elected official in the past.

Why you are glad to serve on the WCCHD Board of Health.
I look forward to serving the citizens of Georgetown as their representative on the WCCHD. I also look forward to helping all of the citizens of Williamson County as WCCHD moves forward on a variety of public health and environmental issues.

I am married to Lee Ogburn- Russell, PhD, RN who is vice-president of health professions at Temple College. We have two grown daughters. We spend our limited free time together fly fishing in the mountains.
