Your connection to Williamson County and the city you represent for Board members serving as representatives of member cities. For example, how long you have lived in the area, what other community leadership positions you hold/have held, etc.
I have lived in Williamson County for 10 years in the Georgetown area. I have participated in the development of health care resources for people and the formation of sub-regional partnerships to build up public health infrastructure and the ability to respond to public health needs and emergencies.

Why you are glad to serve on the WCCHD Board of Health.
In the 10 years I served as Director of the state health department's region that includes Williamson County, I developed a deep appreciation for the leadership and vision shown by the WCCHD Board and for the dedication and professionalism of the District staff. WCCHD has a reputation for being one of the most innovative and effective health departments in Texas. I feel privileged to have been selected as the Executive Director in October 2007.

Any other information you would like to share such as hobbies, information about your family, etc.
